PAST PRESENT – Age in dance
With this year’s festival theme we will put focus on some dance works choreographed in another era. Where are these artists and their art to be found today, what was the influence they had in and how do we best safeguard the history?
French opening production
We are delighted and proud to announce that the festival opening production will be Empty moves [parts I & II] with French company Ballet Preljocaj by acclaimed choreographer Angelin Preljocaj and composer John Cage. The piece will have it’s Nordic premiere and the company will be visiting Oslo and the CODA Festival for the very first time.
